Beautiful rural area, very sunny position with wonderful views to the pyrenees. Local village of villemagne is 5 mins and has shop open 6 mornings a week, the 2 villages either side saissac and st papoul have all facilites including bars , and cafés/restaurants. Castelnaudary is the nearest town 20 mins away and carcassonne with its famous cité is 35 mins away this area is in the heart of cathar country for those interested in history, also caves, cavernes and of course lots of wine tasting!
